The book I started reading is called Twelve. It is about a young girl named Winnie, and her long, painful, sad, and hard journey of becoming a teenager. She obviously doesn't want to grow up. She is fighting her mom trying not to grow up. For example, when it is time for her to get a bra to wear. She really doesn't want to, her mom says she has to, her sister says she should, but she really doesn't want to. Even when they go to the mall to buy one, she throws a fit and they end up not getting one. Eventually she gets used to it. I think that this book is very good for some people. I imagine that some people can relate to it. It seems very realistic. I would recommend this book to people if they were looking for a realer book about a 12 year old girl. I have heard that there are two other books in the series called Ten and Eleven. I have not read them, but I imagine the third book Twelve is easier to understand if you do read the first two. Winnie is a good character that is easy to like. She doesn't understand many things that go on in her life. Especially about losing her friends, and people being mean. She has an older sister, and a younger brother. Her brother, Ty, is loud, and annoys his sisters. Winnie does come to him and tell him how she feels. He doesn't understand her completely but he gets how she feels, and I think its a great relationship.
