Twelve (again)

I know I have been reading this for awhile, but with To Kill a Mockingbird, and Haroun and the Sea of Stories, I have not had time to read Twelve.  I read it when I can, but the only time I can read a lot is during reading days in English class.  So if you have not read my last few blogs, Twelve is about a twelve year old girl going through tough changes in her life.  Her name is Winnie, and she just got back from camp with her old best-friend, Amanda.  The problem with that is that Amanda turned on Winnie back in second grade.  So, Winnie's Mom is scared that Winnie will be hurt by Amanda again.  Winnie's current best-friend, Dinah, would never be mean to Winnie, and is always there for her.  Winnie does get annoyed by her sometimes, and so Winnie didn't invite her to summer camp with Amanda.  After, Winnie and Amanda got back from camp, they hung out together.  They were together everyday, and Winnie was starting to think that they would be besties again, but one day when they were playing in there secret place, Winnie brought up Gail.  Gail is Amanda's best friend who Winnie secretly hates.  Winnie said that she missed Gail (just to seem nice), and Amanda completely agreed with her and kind of implied that Winnie is a replacement for Gail, and thought that Winnie thought Amanda was a replacement for Dinah. I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense but thats the type of drama in the book.  They are also about to start seventh grade! BIG WHOOP!
Lol,
